Firearms Instructor Workshop for LE

Service Description

This 5-day course designed to challenge and improve Instructors of all experience levels as they learn, grow, discuss and workshop best methods in modern LE training. A look at current teaching methods of hard skills, benefits of practical shooting exercises in learning & teaching, academy curriculum updates, movement and proper integration of drills through live fire and force on force. Some of the Other Topics that will be covered - Safety/Med Considerations -Low Light training - Cover & Positional work -Qualification Standards - Hard Skills & Efficiency -Drill Design - Application based Movement -Pistol Optics - Adult Learning Methods -Dryfire & How to Train - Hit Factor & other methods to evaluate performance NOTE: Thursday night of the course will be focused on Low Light and will take place in the afternoon/evening. All other days of the course will begin at 8AM. Course Host is Monroeville Police Department, PA and will take place at their training facility located at: 2465 Johnston Rd. Monroeville, PA 15146. More details will be provided to registered attendees about 10 days prior to the start of the course.
